Lockdown art-making

The life of an Illustrator is often spent in more isolation than most, but I would never have expected at the start of the year that the rest of the world would soon be joining me in that isolation.

Summer to Winter illustrated

Time for an update! It’s been over a year since I last posted and a lot has happened during that time.
This one is purely a catch up on work, and whilst 2019 was a somewhat slower year for me due to health issues and waiting on treatment, it was a good year in terms of illustration opportunities, two of which I will share here!

Cocktails, chocolate and Freddie Mercury

I have been excitedly adding new products to my Etsy shop (and hopefully many more to come). The end of 2018 went by in a flash, with another thoroughly enjoyable stall at the House of Illustration Winter Fair. And I’ve finally found some time to take stock (literally and figuritively). I added some of these […]

The House of Illustration Summer Fair & an Etsy Shop update!

It’s been a busy summer in the city! I had a great time at the House of Illustration Summer Fair back in June. I had previously shared a stall at the HOI Christmas Fair back in 2015, and this was my first fair since then, and also my first time going solo.

Affordable Art @ Art Rookie

It’s been a while since my last post to say the least! But i’ve been busy with lots of new and exciting things, one of them being my new shop on Art Rookie.
Art Rookie is an online platform where artists can sell their artwork on a variety of products, from greetings cards to wall clocks.

Christmas Art-Making

There were lots of talented illustrators there, selling their illustrated wares. I mainly sold a selection of Christmas cards and other greetings/postcards. […]

Ice Lollies & Flower Power

The British summer time isn’t always reliable where sunshine is concerned but that hasn’t stopped me from indulging in the odd ice cream. And documenting my findings…naturally.

I have fond memories of the summer afternoons of my childhood, being spoilt by my grandparents with there continuously stocked freezer full of ice lollies. These days it may be considered a form of child abuse the amount of sugar my grandparents made readily available to me and my Sister, but i’m confident it had no adverse affects on me…

Sandals + Socks

I’d seen a few fashion posts of late that were talking about mid-season dressing, that difficult time when it’s too warm for a coat but too cold for no outwear at all. And socks and sandals seem to be a bit of a ‘thing’ for SS15. I myself have not tried this trend yet. Living in London I find I very rarely wear heels, as much as I would like to. It just ain’t practical when you’re running for a bus!
