Cocktails, chocolate and Freddie Mercury

I have been excitedly adding new products to my Etsy shop (and hopefully many more to come). The end of 2018 went by in a flash, with another thoroughly enjoyable stall at the House of Illustration Winter Fair. And I’ve finally found some time to take stock (literally and figuritively).

I added some of these cute notebooks to my range. They are printed on recycled paper and are a really nice handbag size. Ideal for sketching on the go and notes.

The cocktail designs were a new set of illustrations I’d been working on for some time. Initially my idea was to create a poster that would sit well in kitchens, but a repeat pattern appealed to me and seemed to lend well to this product.

I also applied my retro chocolate design inspired by my visit to The Museum of Brands to the notebooks, along with my ‘Hide & Seek’ cat illustration. You can’t go wrong with a cat illustration.

Another unexpected star of my shop was this birthday card design of Freddie Mercury, which I initially drew as a birthday card for my brother. He was very amused by it which is always a good sign.
These all sold out at the HOI fair, and I’ve continued to sell a steady amount through my Etsy shop. Bohemian Rhapsody fever is clearly not over yet (I STILL need to see the film).

I’m hoping to add some new products soon and to keep the range going. Anything you’d like to see? Let me know in the comments below
